Well, I got back in to the airport a little after 2pm Friday Dallas time. About 33 hours after I left the hotel to drive to the airport. I was worn out and very exhausted when I got home, after getting about 5 hrs of sleep wednesday night, I only had about 5 hours of sleep on the plane trips and I was up for about 46 of the last 51 hours. Just what happens with long international trips. I woke up wide awake after getting about 7 hours of sleep last night about 3:30 this morning.
Trip back home was uneventful overall with a good flight to Amsterdam and a good flight back to Dallas. No delays really on either trip. Plane ride was fairly smooth and service on the plane was good.
This will be my last blog from the trip, not sure how many people were following other than my family but it was good to keep anyone updated that was interested.
If anyone is interested in the pictures from the trip let me know and i will send you the link to all of the pictures.

Almost home now
Well I am in Amsterdam and hope to get on my last flight in the next hour. Assuming there are no delays, I should be in Dallas around 2pm and hope to be home by 4pm.
So I am hoping this is my last pots before I get home. Been a very tiring week and will be glad to be home.

Last day in Malaysia
Last day today in Malaysia and I have added a picture of the core team here. We were working and training a group of about 12-15 people here in site and some additional people in India that were on the phone. Should have taken a picture of everyone but kept forgetting.
It was a very rewarding trip and I learned quite a bit myself while training the team here on our application. It will be good to see the tool in use soon and how they grow with the tool and how they start to really service our clients better by the efficiencies the tool brings.
I am going to head back to the hotel a little after 5pm here today (Thursday). I will get packed and cleaned up and then have some dinner and head to the airport about 9pm for my mindnight flight to Amsterdam. Then I have a 4 hour layover and then a 10 hour flight to Dallas. Then finally arriving in Dallas at 1:55 pm Friday (I gain 13 hrs going back ). I am hoping once I clear immigration etc.. that I get home around 4pm or so Friday if I do not have any delays and if the Icelandic volcano does not cause any issues.
I will be very glad to get back hom and sleep in my own bed and see my family. It has been a rather exhausting trip since I have worked about half of the US day as well trying to keep up. But in the end it was worth it. The people here are great and it was wonderful to experience a different culture first hand.
I also had many great people to work with while I was here.
Next blog will either be from the KL airport or from Amsterdam I hope.

Day 3 in Malaysia
Well day three in Malaysia is about done now. Been trying to catch up a little this evening and it is 1:05am local time here. Today was a good day, I learned quite a bit about the PSC and the processes and was able to help bring some additioanl insight into the meetings and work with the local team on process and procedures within PRMT. Again today was very enlightening to see how everything worked together and to see how our application really enables everything they do in the PSC.
Tonight after work, went into Kuala Lumpur and had dinner, since we had TAI for lunch, we wanted something we knew for dinner and they had a chillis under the tower building, shown in the picture and we ate there. The building is really amazing, 88 stories tall and breathtaking at night.
So another long day here but will be back in the office early in the morning.

Day 2 in Kuala Lumpur
So we are close to completing our second day in KL and it has been another good day. I was on calls until 1am local time this morning though and back online at 6:30am and off to the office around 8am. Today was my day to train the team on the application and walk through our tools and ensure the team had all of the information needed to start using the application. The training went very well thanks to some very good speaker notes from Jon (Thanks Jon). I went through the overview, the Aries training and the Aldea training and then we did demos for each one as well.
Reno then went through the metrics and we spent some time reviewing the reports and the team had quite a few questions related to the metrics and views. I have some information to follow-up with Jon D. about :)
So two very long and full days so far but they have been good and we had about 20 people here in the room today and in a room in India dialing in remotely. So overall a good day.
Had lunch in the cafe here today and went simple and had pasta today for lunch. Plenty of interesting food here I have tried so far and still need to have some additional Malaysian food and that is planned for Tuesday.
I still do not have a USB cord for the camera, so my pictures might have to wait.
Good trip so far, looking to a late night of emails once the US comes online :)

First 24 hours in Malaysia
When I last blogged I was in the car driving to the hotel. I made it to the hotel and was so glad to finaly get there and get cleaned up and refreshed from about 29 hours of travel. Once I got cleaned up I went to eat some breakfast and meet up with a person from the team (Sue Reynolds) and we were going to look around KL and try to keep me awake. So we spent the next 6 hours with a driver going around the city and seeing some of the tourist sites.
I will provide more information and pictures when I get my camera connected. Today we had great meetings with the team here in Malaysia and went through the overview of the week with the team and then went into a very detailed description and overview of ABM and the org structure. We then went into the PSC and I learned wuite a bit about how the PSC works and what the actions that they have taken so far and the actions planned going forward. We went through an overview of how the accounts are processing these requests today and how they will do this in the future via PRMT. It was very informative and really opens your eyes to the true nature of the complex work that PRMT supports. During the day, the comment was made that without our PRMT tool none of what the PSC is doing would be possible. So a great day today working with the team. Tonight, will try and go into town and get some dinner and then I have 3 hours of calls very late local time.
More to come later.
